UP B23-7 138
Description:
UP B23-7 138 at Cotter, Artkansas on February 24, 1990, Kodachrome by Chuck Zeiler. Built in November 1979 as MP 2327 (c/n 42688), a year after delivery it was renumbered to 4638 to make room for newly arriving GP38-2's. On July 19, 1988 it was repainted and renumbered into the UP system as seen here. It became the core for UPY 2665 around June 20, 2007. Note two UP shields on the doors below the cab.
