Album Info:As I've driven up and down over the southern end of the old BAR system I've gott'a say I'm proud of this railroad. They've had a steady decline in business over the years like all the Maine lines, but when ever I've talked to any of the MMA folks they've been cheerful, friendly, & upbeat. The Railroad, despite hardship is very well maintained. I do track work on two small tourist lines and I know how much hard work it takes to keep a line straight and well ballasted. They appear to be able to adapt to change and make the very best of it.... Congrats to all the folks who make up the team! /DL

Description:  This string of cars is setting at the west (south) end of the yard on the bridge over Bates St. If I have my track layout right these cars are setting on the Paper Mill lead which curves to the left to head south 'n east. The empty track to the right is the MMA Main to Brownville on a SW bearing..... /DL
